Great America Theme park
Plan a fun-filled getaway to the Bay Area’s most exciting theme park, California’s Great America, which is located just steps from Hilton Santa Clara.
Guests can float down the lazy river, or dare to navigate the watery twists and turns of the many thrilling rides. Take in the amazing views from the Star Tower, or ride on the Gold Striker, Northern California’s tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster. Enjoy the RailBlazer, the first coaster of its kind on the West Coast featuring a single rail track throughout; the design requires the rider to straddle the rail, creating an extremely low center of gravity that amplifies every move and enables more dynamic turns and rotations than have ever been possible on a coaster.
Rides and Attractions
Soar through the California skies on the Flight Deck, or twist, turn, and spin through fire and water effects on the Firefall ride. For the brave, experience the rush of gravity free-falling down 22 stories on the Drop Tower. Go on a white water rafting expedition on the Rip Roaring Rapids with the family, or bump around on the Rue le Dodge bumper car attraction.
South Bay Shores Waterpark
Great America is getting bigger and better in summer 2020, when they debut the new South Bay Shores waterpark. Guests will be immersed in a completely transformed waterpark experience featuring seven completely new water attractions, new and upgraded food and merchandise locations, premium cabanas and a sandy beach play area.
